Even as a child, I always knew I wanted to be a dentist.  My desire to become a dentist was re-affirmed with my positive experiences growing up.  I could not understand why people were so scared of the dentist and wanted to do all I could to change their perceptions.

My family moved to Oregon in 1979 and I attended Sunset High School and Portland State University. I then went on and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Dentistry in 1991. I also choose to continue my education by completing a one-year post-graduate residency in New York City, before returning to my hometown and starting my own practice. I was fortunate enough to find a great practice in Lake Oswego in 1997, and have been here ever since.

I strive to do the best for my patients, who I also consider my friends. Continuing education and learning the newest techniques to ensure my patients get the best care is a priority!  I am certified in Conscious Sedation, Laser Assisted dentistry, Invisalign, and many other areas of general and cosmetic dentistry.  My team members stay up to date with new technology and techniques through continuing education.  In my practice, we are Eco Friendly, mercury free, paperless, and use digital x-rays.

I am a big believer in community outreach and support. I am an active member in the Lake Oswego Rotary, LO Chamber of Commerce, and in excellent standing with the Better Business Bureau. I continue my memberships with the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Multnomah Dental Society, and Clackamas Dental Society. Helping under-privileged children multiple times throughout the year and providing free oral cancer screenings during oral cancer awareness month are a few of the ways I give back to our community.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Maryam and my son Alex. I also enjoy hiking, skiing, playing and watching soccer and basketball. Go Blazers!!
